Sweet Sunday

It’s Sunday. Lazy Sunday for me. It’s funny because today we switched back one hour and I didn’t know it until I was having brunch at this place, and asked the bartender and he confirmed it. No one told me! haha. I’m used to it happening on my birthday weekend, and I completely forgot about it. If it wasn’t for my smart phone, I wouldn’t have known.

It’s a strange feeling but I’m just now starting to get used to this blogging thing every day. It’s very therapeutic for me and I know it’s gonna get harder as the days go on due to holidays, but they didn’t call it a challenge for nothing. I also feel like I need to write in my paper journal. I opened it today, and I haven’t written in it since a year ago in November. There’s just something about jotting stuff down, and living in this technological world, sometimes I feel I forget how to even write anymore. So I’m gonna bring it back to the basics.

I also enjoy reading books the old fashioned way, not keen on digital books or audiobooks. This stack of books here are books that I either started reading, or haven’t even read at all and I want to finish reading them. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, I got that one when my book club started to read it last year and I just couldn’t get through it. I hear the first 50 pages are hard to get through but then it starts getting good. I haven’t seen the movie yet either because I want to read the book first. I miss being part of a book club, so I think I’m gonna start looking for one.

The Twilight series is what started my last book club I was a part of. Everyone went their separate ways though, some moved to another state, or just got out of touch. I think I’m gonna start reading Breaking Dawn tonight because I feel like I need to refresh my memory. I can’t believe this movie is finally gonna be out in 12 days! I already have my free ticket from my last job, so I’m happy that I don’t have to buy the movie ticket. Are you a Twihard?

Hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend!
